Two of the Mountain Top Private Lodges overlook the
East Branch of The Delaware while the other two Lodges overlook not only the
village below, but both branches of the Delaware coming together to form
the Delaware River which will flow through 4 states before ending it's
351 mile journey to the Atlantic Ocean. The views are breathtaking anytime of the
time of year. Unfortunately, the Private Lodges are inaccessible in the winter
months.
The Private Lodges on Bass Mountain are available from April 1 through December 15, or until the weather closes the access road. The Mountain Top Private Lodges are only 9 miles from The French Woods Golf & X-Ski Resort and only one mile from the Village of Hancock. The village offers several restaurants, a twin cinema, video rental store, bowling alley, tennis courts and many other diversions. Hancock is easily accessed by car, bus, or plane. Each Private Lodge is nearly 1,500 square feet and offers 2 floors of rustic charm. You'll be right at home in the enormous full kitchen with all major appliances, dinning room, living room with Satellite TV/VCR, full bath downstairs. Two lodges have1/2 bath upstairs, full bath down, 2 full bedrooms and 2 spare beds in the common way upstairs for added quests. The other two lodges have1 bedroom downstairs with one full bath and 4 large single beds in the common way upstairs. You'll also enjoy spacious decks on all lodges. You'll find a barbeque grill on the back deck so you can enjoy great cook outs. All lodges comfortably sleeps 6 people. Your hosts, Russell and Lynn Bass, hope you enjoy your stay!
